OFF WE GO! Heading thru Arizona and New Mexico...lots of desert and cactus.

We arrived in Riodoso New Mexico and this hotel sign is a welcome relief

Its a beautiful morning the desk clerk mentioned we should be sure and stop by the park near the racetrack on our way out.

We heard a rumbling in the distance....and turned to see....

There has been a escape from the nearby stables; it's a stampede!!

Whoa nellie....slow down there big boy.

JT checks under the "hood" as one of the hoirses run past hmmm

Once the horses settled down...JT went to go over and pet the horse only; OOoops... he accidently poked the horse in the nose!

let's just say that didn't go over well.

Oh oh!

Oh no its on again..stampede starts up once more.

This time even more horses join in.

JT makes it to safety, wheres his wife?

Grab on to anything you can to escape the stampede!

THe walkway/waterway is lined with bars and resturaunts galore!

Time to hit the road and head back home
