Music is everywhere

We headed downtown for an evening of music

trying to decide where to park
our weary dawgs for a little rest 
and good earful of music was the hardest part

The sites, the sounds, the shopping......

we bounced about shop to shop
and settled in to a bar for a great evening of music

Day 2 in Nashville~ 
a rainy day didnt keep us from
hittin music square to meet up with
our appointments!

made our appointment on time!

Day 4 -
Thursday morning is a busy one
We check out of the hotel-
have a photoshoot out of town
 & back to Nashville for a lunch date

and now back to Cathy's Office
time to meet up for our lunch meeting
with new friends!

Lunch meeting was a success. 
Now its time to hit the road
Just as we hop in the truck
the heavens open up!

A quick detour into a
parking garage on music row
to cover our suitcases in plastic

just 10 minutes earlier......
we had been driving where
a tornado touched down
near the airport. Close call!

We were soaked!

Day 5-
We drove through rains and storms all night.
Friday morning found us in Arkansas
We detoured onto a side road to visit
the diamond crater park.

A couple of hours digging in the diamond fields
yeilded - some good exercise & muddy boots.

Dallas Texas lived up to the expecations
of traffic galore!
We stopped for gas and traveled on.

The setting sun on the texas horizon
found us in a hotel for the night.

Day 6 The drive across Texas, New Mexico & Arizona
was a WINDY long haul.
we made it home safe & sound early Sunday morning.
What an adventure we had!

Ready to join us on the road?
hop in and join us for a week on the road
The first leg of our trip is through;
Arizona/New Mexico/Texas/Lousiana
/Mississippi/Alabama to Florida
 

No one said this trip was glamourous
A quick unexpected roadside stop
and we discover a new friend....

a Mr Potatoman
looking for a ride.

Being the hardcore roadtrippers
means... no stopping for hotels,
why that truck is plenty comfy

little stubble from not shaving

Those long boring stretches of
freeway across Texas were effortless
as Mr Potatohead entertained us
with a game of charades

We stop at only the finest
truck stops, hows that for

Houston Texas has so much to offer....

the wonderful architecture, the nightlife
and THE TRAFFIC! 

Louisiana found Mr Potatoman
thinking of a crocodile snack stop.

grrrhhhh We turned our back for one minute
and look.....he's back to his old habits again.

We met up in Florida with

Did we have a great time at the Steak Out on Friday night!!

We arrived early in anticipation of a great

We sure weren't disappointed!

we braved the many fires along
side of the freeways thru out Florida

Remodeling time.
JT to the rescue as he makes
a breathing hole in the plastic used to
sealed off the kitchen
during all the sanding & prep work

We wasted no time stripping cabinets
and removing cupboard doors

A coat of primer
remove the sink & counter
move out the dishwasher
and volia a real MESS!

doors are everywhere
paint cans multiply overnight

Oh yeah, we stripped bathroom wallpaper,
added a fresh coat of paint,
replaced plumbing fixtures
and added new hardware....all in a days work!
